TRUSTe is an independent, non-profit organisation whose mission is to build user.s trust and confidence in the Internet by promoting the use of fair information practices. This privacy statement covers the Web site www.securehost.com. Because this Web site wants to demonstrate its commitment to your privacy, it has agreed to disclose its information practices and have its privacy practices reviewed for compliance by TRUSTe.

In the course of serving its customers, SECUREHOST.COM acquires, stores and transmits customer communications and information that customers may regard as private or sensitive. Opt Out & Modifications
Customers may opt out of receiving notices of new or upgraded products from SECUREHOST.COM and SECUREHOST.COM partners by sending a request to privacy@SECUREHOST.COM. In this request to privacy@SECUREHOST.COM, customers must identify: service purchased from SECUREHOST.COM, domain name (if applicable), contact information, and the date the service was purchased. However, customers may not opt out of receiving information from SECUREHOST.COM which is essential for maintaining or updating customers’ accounts or system information.
Customers may access and modify their personal information by contacting Billing department at billing@SECUREHOST.COM.
Domain name customers who have registered a domain name with SECUREHOST.COM and wish to change the Technical Contact from SECUREHOST.COM to another company, may send a request to hostadmin@SECUREHOST.COM. It is important to note that customer domain name registration information is made publicly available in the registry of domain names.
Disclosure of customer information and communications
We use a third party to provide credit card processing for our site. When you sign up for web hosting, you will be taken to our credit card processing agent.s website to fulfill your payment. The information you provide there is not shared with Secure Hosting, Ltd. This third party is prohibited from using your personally identifiable information for any other purpose.
SECUREHOST.COM does not share, sell, rent, or trade PII with third parties for their promotional purpose. SECUREHOST.COM will not otherwise disclose its customers’ personal and account information unless SECUREHOST.COM has reason to believe that disclosing such information is necessary to identify, make contact with, or bring legal action against someone who may be causing harm or interfering with the rights or property of SECUREHOST.COM, SECUREHOST.COM’s customers, or others, or where SECUREHOST.COM has a good faith belief that the law requires such disclosure.
SECUREHOST.COM also will not, except for reasons stated below, disclose to third parties the contents of any electronic mail or other electronic communications that SECUREHOST.COM stores or transmits for its customers. The circumstances under which SECUREHOST.COM will disclose such electronic customer communications are when:
- it is necessary in order to provide service to the customer;
- it is necessary to protect the legitimate interests of SECUREHOST.COM and its customers;
- it is required to cooperate with interception orders, warrants, or other legal process that SECUREHOST.COM determines in its sole discretion to be valid and enforceable; and
- it is necessary to provide to a law enforcement agency when the contents are inadvertently obtained by SECUREHOST.COM and appear to pertain to the commission of a crime.
